Facebook's Manish Khanduri joins Congress party

Manish Khanduri, Facebook's head of news partnerships for India has joined the Indian National Congress. Khanduri is state BJP leader and former Uttarakhand Chief Minister BC Khanduri's son.

He, started his career as a business journalist, and had joined Facebook in mid-2018. Prior to his role at Facebook, Kanduri has had stints with Cognizant, Turner Broadcasting Systems, Bisquare Systems, Business World magazine and Business Standard newspaper.

Despite being the son of a BJP leader, Khanduri decided to join Congress. Speaking to a TV news channel, Khanduri mentioned that he wishes to work on issues like unemployment, education and said that his ideology is closest to that of the Indian National Congress and he was never a part of the BJP.
