ZEE: Amit Shah to head West, North, Premium Channels; Samrat Ghosh to head East

Former Mondelēz International hand Amit Shah, who moved to Zee Entertainment Enterprises as cluster head - Regional Hindi Speaking Markets (RHSM) last year, has been elevated. Shah will now head English cluster and Living Foodz along with the West and North cluster which the broadcaster recently created. Amit Shah's new designation at Zee is Cluster head - West, North and Premium Channels. He will continue to report to Punit Misra, CEO, domestic broadcast business, ZEE.

On the other hand, Samrat Ghosh who joined ZEE in 2000 and was leading the Bangla cluster has been elevated as the cluster head - East. Apart from Zee Bangla and Zee Bangla Cinema, Ghosh will now head Zee Sarthak and Big Ganga too.

A source close to the development informed that Zee plans to expand its footprints in the East by launching new channels and Ghosh will lead that expansion. He too will report to Punit Misra.
