CavinKare ropes in Deeksha Seth as new face of 'Meera'
Bangalore, November 08, 2012
The FMCG giant, CavinKare announced south India's rising star, Deeksha Seth as the brand ambassador for its new look Meera Shampoo.
With the launch of Meera Shampoo in a contemporary avatar, CavinKare is aiming to make this household brand more relevant in consonance with today's lifestyle. The Meera brand today has evolved as an 'Inspired by Tradition' brand, delivering the traditional goodness of natural ingredients that provide nourishment for strong, healthy and beautiful hair.
Commenting on the association, Deeksha Seth said, “I'm happy to be associated with an innovative brand that introduced the concept of hair wash powder to the South Indian woman and be a part of this new journey with them. These days, working on film sets day-in and day-out, I hardly have the time to allocate exclusively for hair care. I believe that Meera Shampoo which is nutrient-rich with ingredients like Kunkudukai shikkai and badam can put away my worries by strengthening each and every hair strand thereby making it soft, lustrous and gleaming with health, which is what every girl dreams of.”
Commenting on Deeksha being the new brand ambassador, Mr. Sameer Wanchoo, GM Marketing - Hair care, CavinKare said, "We are delighted to have Deeksha as the face of Meera Shampoo and launch its exciting range of products in new look. With brand Meera undergoing a change in identity we see synergies in appointing Deeksha Seth to be the brand ambassador for Meera Shampoo and Hair Wash Powder as she reflects the contemporary smart girl with strong cultural roots."
CavinKare will soon be launching a (high) voltage TVC campaign across many leading, south-Indian television channels with the new brand proposition.
Deeksha Seth, former Femina Miss India has made a name for herself in South Indian cinema especially in the Telugu industry after having done a large number of successful and noteworthy films. She is now all set to enter Bollywood. She epitomizes the young Indian girl of today and making her a great fit for Meera Shampoo
