'Jila TOP' Grand Finale on Mahuaa TV

The inaugural season of ‘Jila Top’ on Mahuaa TV will conclude with its Grand Finale on September 21st, 2013. Prior to the same, the top three finalists representing their respective districts will give their last performance on the grand stage of ‘Jila Top’ on the 20th.

For the very first time in reality television, an attempt was made through ‘Jila Top’ to pit districts against each other. The show has greatly succeeded in this endeavor, as a whole mine of talent has emerged from different ‘Jilas’ of UP, Jharkhand and Bihar. Contestants have displayed their versatility in popular Bhojpuri as well as Hindi songs, witnessed by several venerable personalities from the entertainment fraternity. The two episodes of the finale week will certainly be packed with drama and excitement befitting the grand finale of a mega-show as ‘Jila Top.’

The overall mood of the finale is likely to invoke a feeling of positive nostalgia among contestants. ‘Jila Top’ has been a journey of sorts, with contestants reinventing their singing styles, pushing their limits, facing criticism on the way and then bouncing back to be on the grand finale platform. The finale will feature performances by winners of previous seasons of ‘Sur Sangram’, and Bhojpuri Superstar Ravi Kishan and folk singer Malini Awasthi will also make a special appearance. Undoubtedly, it is expected to be a culmination of the extraordinary journey of everyone involved in this season of the show.
