Suman Srivastav takes over as Euro RSCG President
Srivastav however, continues to report to Ishan Raina, who is now chairman and CEO, Euro RSCG
Suman Srivastav, who was executive director, Euro RSCG, till a few days ago, has been appointed as the President of Euro RSCG. He, however, will continue to report to Ishan Raina, who continues to be the CEO but now has additional responsibility of chairman.
An official confirmation from the agency was hard to get. However, industry sources, have confirmed the development.
Srivastav has not been much of a job hopper. The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) graduate launched his career in advertising in 1987 with Lowe (erstwhile Lintas) and worked at the agency for eight years.
In 1994, Srivastav moved to SSC&B Lintas. In fact, he was also instrumental in setting up SSC&B Lintas along with Ajay Chandwani, the agency's erstwhile president.
SSC&B Lintas was created for purely conflicting businesses that Lintas could not handle. Chandwani was made the president of SSC&B Lintas.
Two years hence, in 1996, Srivastav left SSC&B Lintas to join Euro RSCG. The agency had just been set up and Srivastav was among the first employees of Euro RSCG.
From 1996 to 2004, Srivastav's career at Euro RSCG has been on the upward swing.
