Hungama adds three more to its team

After Nikhil Shimpi and Sunil Nair, Neeraj Roy hires Vikram Prabhu, Albert Barton and Ranjeet Vichare

Close on the heels of recruiting Nikhil Shimpi and Sunil Nair as head of mobile marketing and head of planning, the Neeraj Roy-promoted Hungama has further strengthened its team with the induction of Vikram Prabhu, Albert Barton and Ranjeet Vichare. They join as head of mobile content, creative director, promotions marketing and account director, respectively.

Together, this team has the mandate of pushing the company’s agenda in the promotions marketing space, which it believes is an emerging sector, considering that promo-marketing in India has been growing at the rate of 25-30 per cent year-on-year.

Prabhu has 11 years of experience in television content and programming. He has held senior creative positions at ZEE and Etc. His last assignment was with rediff.com, where he handled content and alliances for the portal.

Albert Barton, on the other hand, is an advertising professional with a total of 12 years behind him at agencies such as Mudra, Grey and Saatchi & Saatchi. Vichare is a graduate in advertising and sociology with a core competence in marketing communication. He has 13 years of experience with agencies such as Madison and Rediffusion and companies such as Raymond and Tata Teleservices Limited.
