Anupriya Acharya to replace Divya Gupta as TME head

The Media Edge (TME) will soon see a change of leadership. Anupriya Acharya will join TME as president on March 1, 2005, taking over from Divya Gupta, who has been heading TME since its inception in 1999.

Gupta will be relocating out of India on an international assignment.

Under Gupta's stewardship, TME has grown to be one of the largest and well-respected media agencies in India. She will be with TME for the time needed to ensure a smooth handover to Acharya.

Acharya joins TME from Group M, where she set up M Consult, Group M's foray into marketing communications consultancy. She was earlier with Mindshare Fulcrum from 2000 to 2004 and brings with her a significant experience in strategic planning, a keen understanding of qualitative and quantitative research, media buying, and 360-degree communication channel usage.
