Euro RSCG Delhi strengthens creative team with Satbir Singh, Virag Mishra

These appointments come close on the heels of Sujit Unni joining the Mumbai office as creative director

Close on the heels of Sujit Unni joining the Euro RSCG Mumbai office as a creative director, two senior creative professionals, Satbir Singh and Virag Mishra have joined the Delhi office. While Satbir Singh, who was with O&M, comes on board as the vice-president, Mishra, earlier with Dhar & Hoon, joins the ranks as creative director.

Talking about the appointments, Suman Srivastava, president, Euro RSCG India, says, "I am extremely pleased to welcome Satbir Singh, Virag Mishra and Sujit Unni, all award winning creatives, to Euro RSCG India. These appointments reflect Euro's growth momentum, and we look forward to seeing some great work from them.”

Singh, who has nearly 12 years of experience, has worked in several agencies that include Grey Worldwide, Contract Advertising, FCB-Ulka, Equus and of course O&M. He is credited with three PATA Asian Awards for Tourism Campaign including a Gold – for the India Tourism 'Incredible India' campaign. He had also bagged an Abby Gold for the same campaign. These apart, Singh has won two One Show Entries for Ambika Pillai's Saloon Opening and for HOPE (Human Organs Procurement & Educational Trust).

His work for Hope also won him Entry in Communications Arts, one OBIE (the outdoors biggy) in New York, one Asian Adfest and Selection in The Work, best of Asian Advertising. He has several other awards to his credit including one Gold and a Merit at the New York Festivals.

Mishra who has one Abby Gold (for LG Microwave Ovens) and Radio Mirchi KAAN 2004 award for Mortein & Shagun Sugar Radio Campaign to his credit, has had stints at iB&W, Capital Advertising, Dhar & Hoon and Euro RSCG. In fact, this is Mishra's second stint at Euro Delhi.

Needless to say the mandate for the creative duo is to produce good creative work. Singh finds the current account mix with Euro very exciting, and feels there is a lot potential for good creative work. “I guess all of us want to change the world. So, my joining Euro is a shot at it”

Mishra on his part feels that the creative talent at Euro is underexposed, but is very confident that in the time to come, the agency will make a mark for itself. © 2005 agencyfaqs!
