Dainik Jagran in promotional tie up with Radio City

While the two companies have tied up for cross-promotional activities, they are also working on a combined rate card for advertisers

Dainik Jagran has joined hands with Radio City for cross-promotional activities. A senior executive at the Jagran Group says, “This is a mutually beneficial relationship. Radio City, unlike its competitors (read Radio Mirchi and Red FM), doesn’t have a print back up. On the other hand, this deal provides an opportunity for the Jagran Group to reach out to Radio City audiences.”

As of now, the deal the between the two involves cross-promotional activities through programming initiatives and the barter of ad space.

As part of the plan, Radio City, Delhi has launched a programme, ‘City Ki Shaan’, which will feature one unsung hero from the capital and his views on the city and about social work. The story about this unsung hero will also be published in Dainik Jagran.

While the feature will be published five days a week in Dainik Jagran, the programme will be aired three times a day on Radio City’s Delhi station. The Jagran executive says, “Very soon, we will take this initiative to other Radio City stations.”
