UTStarcom calls for media pitch

UTStarcom, IP-based end-to-end networking solutions and services company, has invited agencies for a media pitch. Company executives have confirmed the news, adding that the size of the account is around Rs 10-15 crore.

Quite a few agencies are understood to be in the fray. However, their names could not be ascertained as the company was in process of inviting the agencies for the pitch.

The pitch process would start in a month's time.

UTStarcom specialises in IP access infrastructure products that enable service providers to deliver high-quality, affordable voice, data, and video services in both emerging and established telecommunications markets.

The company designs, develops, and markets carrier-class wireline, wireless, optical, and switching systems that are crucial to the cost-effective expansion of next-generation telecom networks. The company was recently in news for supplying its NetRing 2500 STM-16 optical transport solution to Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL).
