Continental Airlines signs Publicis India as its creative communication partner

American airline company Continental Airlines has awarded its creative duties to Publicis India. The media account is being handled by Starcom

Publicis India has been awarded the creative duties of American flier, Continental Airlines. The Delhi branch of the agency will handle the business.

Declining to reveal the exact size of the business, Sandeep Madan, vice-president, Publicis India, says, “The size of the business is substantial, and it is much more than a couple of crore rupees.”

Madan adds, “This is a significant win as it is an international network business for us.” There was no formal pitch for the account.

The Houston, Texas, based airline company is set to launch its India operations by the end of this September.

The media business is being handled by Starcom.

Continental Airlines is the world’s sixth-largest airline. Together with Continental Express and Continental Connection, the airline has more than 3,100 daily departures throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia, serving 150 domestic and 131 international destinations.
