Meera Sharath Chandra joins Tribal DDB as national creative director

Tribal DDB India is the interactive arm of Mudra, which specialises in online web solutions, online branding, mobile gaming, etc.

Tribal DDB India, the interactive arm of Mudra, has appointed Meera Sharath Chandra its national creative director.

Confirming this development to agencyfaqs!, CVS Sharma, general manager, Tribal DDB India, says, “Meera brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the position she holds. Innovative creatives have been Tribal DDB India’s major strength. With her on board, we are looking at providing pathbreaking user experience and better results for our clients.”

Prior to this appointment, Meera has worked with Contract Advertising, Mumbai, as vice-president, creative. She has worked for clients such as Walt Disney, Cadbury’s, Godrej and Platinum Guild International.

Chandra says, “The team I will be working with in Tribal DDB is very young, but bright. Moreover, the scope for the medium is huge, which calls for high responsibility from my side. My primary challenge is to push the company to new heights.”

Chandra has spent over 18 years in the advertising industry with agencies such as Everest, Saatchi and Saatchi, JWT and Maa Bozell.

Apart from advertising, Chandra has also tried her hand at new media experiences as executive director and president of Avigna Technologies, an Intel portfolio company, based mostly in Washington, DC, New York and Hong Kong.
