Ogilvy Activation consolidates its units and reshuffles senior management

Anurag Gupta will head the logistics team nationally, while AB Venkcatesan will head logistics for South India

Ogilvy & Mather’s out-of-home solutions division, Ogilvy Activation, has reshuffled its senior management. This move comes as a result of the consolidation of Ogilvy Activation’s four units – the interactive communication units, Ogilvy Outreach and Ogilvy Live (which are now collectively Ogilvy Interactive), and the static units, Ogilvy Landscapes and Ogilvy Signscapes (which are now clubbed together under Ogilvy Static).

Pratap Bose, president, Ogilvy Activation, says, “This will help us leverage our individual strengths of expertise, servicing and logistics support and I am confident that this will also open new business opportunities for us.”

“In addition, these changes have been effected to increase the synergies and broaden the bandwidth required to ensure effective deliveries for our client requirements,” Bose adds.

Among the other changes in the senior management team, Anurag Gupta, national head, planning, Ogilvy Activation, will now be the national head, Ogilvy Interactive. He will operate out of Mumbai. AB Venkcatesan, the new business and logistics head in Chennai, will head Ogilvy Interactive for all of South India.

Sandip Bansal, country head, Ogilvy Outreach, will jointly head the logistics management for Ogilvy Interactive along with Raj Kamboj.

Bharat Damani, business director, Ogilvy Signscapes, will work with the overall Ogilvy Static team in order to make a difference in the retail environment.
