Mudra Brand Therapist bags INTAS Pharmaceutical and USV

Mudra Brand Therapist, the & #BANNER1 & # healthcare division of Mudra Communications, has bagged two new businesses - INTAS Pharmaceutical and USV.

Confirming this development to agencyfaqs!, Soumitra Sen, president, Mudra Brand Therapist, says, "Both the businesses belong to the Rx category and, therefore, most of the communication will be targeted directly at doctors. Besides, it will also include medical communication such as slide kits, reference folders, advertising in medical journals, etc."

Ahmedabad based INTAS Pharmaceutical started operations in 1960. However, in the last ten years, the company has grown annually at a rate of 30 per cent. In 1999, the company's turnover crossed the Rs 100 crore mark. By the end of fiscal 2000-01, the turnover had increased to Rs 180 crore.

USV India focuses mainly on the oral anti-diabetic segment in India. However, it also caters to other segments such as respiratory illnesses, dermatology, nutritionals, orthopaedics and gynaecology through innovative products with the help of the company's European and American counterparts.

Sen, who has recently taken over this division of Mudra, adds, "My primary objective is to cater to the diverse needs of the healthcare industry. Our management cell works with a singular focus to bring a high-level scientific strategic insight to all the communications that we design for our clients."
