The Nautiyal cousins quit Euro RSCG

Ranjan and Gaurav Nautiyal were associate creative directors in copy and art, respectively

Barely seven months after they joined Euro RSCG, Delhi, the Nautiyal cousins, Ranjan and Gaurav, have put in their papers. The Nautiyals were associate creative directors in copy and art, respectively.

Confirming the news, Gaurav says, “We have decided to move on, but right now, there is nothing concrete to talk about regarding our future assignment. There are a few options and we are going to explore them in due course.”

Ranjan echoes the same sentiment.

When the Nautiyals left O&M in mid-2005, they had cited Satbir Singh, currently vice-president, creative, at Euro RSCG, as the main reason why they were moving to that agency. The duo had worked earlier as a team with Singh while Singh was at O&M.

Besides O&M, the Nautiyals have also worked with Bates Enterprise (then Bates) and Contract. They have worked on brands such as Voltas, Schneider, LG Microwave, ‘HT’, NIIT (Planet Wortz campaign), Maruti and Microsoft (anti-Linux).

As for awards and accolades, they have received a One Show merit in 2005 and were a D&AD finalist in 2004. Gaurav has an AAAI Gold as well.

Ranjan speaks about their work at Euro RSCG: “I think the work we did for ‘Navbharat Times’, where we used a lot of graphics, was noteworthy. Another campaign that we did for Red FM, ‘Don’t Talk while Driving’, is close to our hearts and this is also the one that we are thinking of entering for various awards.”
