TBWAIndiaPR to become Brodeur India

Brodeur, a leading global communication agency and part of the Omnicom Group, has joined hands with TBWAIndia’s PR Division (TBWAIndiaPR) to extend its branded operations in the country

TBWAIndiaPR has joined hands with Brodeur, a strategic communications agency within the Omnicom Group (NYSE: OMC). TBWAIndiaPR will now become Brodeur India and it joins 11 other offices across the Asia Pacific region and more than 70 other Brodeur | Pleon offices worldwide.

Dhrubajyoti Gayan, vice-president of TBWAPR in India, has been appointed country head of Brodeur India and will shift base to Delhi.

This move is a key element in Brodeur’s expansion plans in the subcontinent and in its development strategy for the entire Asia Pacific region. By joining hands with the Indian PR operations of its sister Omnicom advertising agency, TBWA, Brodeur gets immediate access to resources in six Indian cities, New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune and Coimbatore.

Andrea Coville, CEO, Brodeur, says, “Until now, we have been represented by excellent agencies in India, but as our clients are shifting to take advantage of a global business environment, we wanted to make sure that they could count on a partner with an active and strong presence in India. TBWAIndiaPR was an ideal solution.”

She adds, “TBWAIndia has been around for almost six years and it has been providing a high level of service and expertise, both of which are the hallmarks of Omnicom agencies. Plus, it is keen to grow as a PR consultancy.”

Dhrubajyoti Gayan says, “This will give us access to an extensive repository of knowledge, experience and global best practices, as also a network across continents. We expect this to help us bring in even more value for our clients and also to meet the ambitious growth targets we have set for ourselves.”

George John, chairman, TBWA India, says, “Over the years, our PR division has shown a steady growth and this development has come at the right moment in its growth plan. The alliance will help TBWA India in further strengthening its bouquet of services for its clients.”

For the record, founded in 1985, Brodeur specialises in public relations, marketing and corporate communications in sectors such as technology, finance, healthcare and consumer.
