Clio Awards has 10 final entries from India

The Clio Awards 2006 function, which will end today at Miami in the US, has ten entries from India


Advertising agencies & #BANNER1 & # the world over are eagerly awaiting the results of the Clio Awards 2006, being held at Miami in the US from May 13 (for three days). With ten final entries, Indian agencies also have a lot to look forward to.

Of the ten final entries, JWT has six (five from Mumbai and one from Chennai). The agency has five entries for the brand, 'Levis Slim Jeans', which has been on a winning spree at the national awards. Saatchi and Saatchi has two entries, while David and O&M have one entry each.

JWT's Levi's Slim Jeans TVCs have been short-listed in the Apparel/Fashion category and in the Music-Original category. Its print ads have two finalists in the Apparel/Fashion category and an entry in the Poster Campaign category. JWT, Chennai, has also had its 'Give' campaign short-listed in Print.

Saatchi and Saatchi's two poster entries for Ariel, titled 'Tea Man' and 'Painter', have been short-listed in the Home Products category. Art Centre's poster, titled 'Birds', by O&M, New Delhi, is a finalist in the Entertainment Promotion category. Brand David's radio jingle for Nitco Dirt-Free Tiles, titled 'Oh Carol', is a finalist in the Home Furnishing/Appliances category.
