DAC president VK Chopra says, "The DAC board, in consensus with its members, has decided on the names of the jury members, which include people who are leaders in their fields. Chopra reveals that the list of judges is almost confirmed as he has got an okay for all these names. However, he did not rule out some last-minute changes. He says about the selection procedure: "Our awards stand for transparency and we are working on a selection process that will ensure this. We have decided that the judging will be spread over three days, but are still working on the other details."

The ICE Awards, which were earlier slated to take place on June 23, 2006, have been pushed to the third week of July; the summer vacation is being cited as the reason for this shift.
