Radio City has inducted two senior members in its team – Krishna Iyer, who has joined as station head in Mumbai and Madhusudhan, who will be station head in Chennai.

Iyer used to be associate vice-president with Lowe, Mumbai, while Madhusudhan was chief operating officer, Healing Fields Foundation, a Hyderabad NGO (non-government organisation).

Iyer has been in advertising for over 14 years and has worked with agencies such as Bates Enterprise (then Enterprise Nexus) and JWT (then HTA).

Iyer’s mandate with Radio City, Mumbai, is to strengthen and rejuvenate the content and retain the station’s leadership position in the city’s FM space.

Madhusudhan, a true-blue sales and marketing professional, has over 10 years of experience and has worked in organisations such as Reliance Life Insurance, ANP Sanmarg Life Insurance, Idea Cellular and HCL Nokia. His strong project skills and eclectic talents in poetry and DJing should hold him in good stead as he helps prepare for Radio City’s launch in Chennai.

In India, Radio City is promoted by Music Broadcast Pvt. Ltd (MBPL), the private FM network catering to listeners across Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Lucknow and now Hyderabad. Recently, Radio City acquired the licences to broadcast in 16 more cities across the country, among these being Chennai, Jaipur, Coimbatore, Vizag, Pune, Ahmedabad, Surat and Nagpur and some smaller centres in Western India.
