Following a multi-agency pitch, Grey Worldwide, Delhi has won both the creative as well as media duties for Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL). As per industry estimates, the size of the business is around Rs 20 crore. The incumbent agency was Hakuhodo Percept.

Confirming this news to agencyfaqs!, Jatin Kachru, assistant manager, marketing, SMIPL, says, “Yes, we have decided on Grey Worldwide as our advertising agency. But I would not like to divulge any more details.”

“The decision to review the business was well thought of and the decision on the agency is based on company's internal decision and logical conclusion,” he adds.

He further says, “We are looking at appropriate brand positioning which would help us reach our desired TG. Though I can clearly say that we are not looking at roping in any brand ambassadors for our bikes.”

The media mix would include television, print and outdoor.

Hari Krishnan, branch head, Grey Worldwide, Delhi, says, “I can confidently say that this is one big win which Grey Delhi has bagged due to its sound strategy and distinctive creative presentation.”

He adds, “The two-wheeler segment has itself become crowded both in the mass as well as premium categories. Our objective is to break this clutter and create a distinctive identity for the brand.”

Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited is a subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation. Currently SMIPL has two 125 cc motorcycles- Heat and Zeus.
