Parveez Modak joins Bates Enterprise

Modak was earlier general manager of Advertising International Company (AIC), which is a Young & Rubicam representative company in Muscat (Oman)

Parveez Modak has joined Bates Enterprise as associate vice-president. Modak has moved here from Advertising International Company (AIC), which he used to head as general manager. AIC is a Young & Rubicam representative company in Muscat (Oman). Modak’s mandate at Bates Enterprise will be to build upon client relationships and tap the potential of the brands with the agency.

Commenting on his move, Modak says, “Bates and Enterprise both have had a very strong heritage in the market. And after the merger, I see a powerful vision building up for the company in the future. With its planning tool, Change Point Planning, and marketing services company, 141 Worldwide, which provide a 360-degree point of view that touch and cover the internal marketing aspects with customers, it becomes very exciting to work on existing and new brands with the company.”

The prominent brands Modak will work on at Bates Enterprise include IDBI, STAR News, Ravissant, Killer Jeans and Easies.

Prior to AIC, Modak worked with Ambience Publicis, Mumbai, as general manager. He has spent more than five years with Ambience and worked on brands such as Western Union Money Transfer, ICICI’s International Business Group, HDFC Mutual Fund, Emami and Sona Chandi Chyavanprash.

Charulata Ravi Kumar, executive vice-president, Bates Enterprise, says, “Parveez has got fine quality international experience in the Middle East. He has worked on lots of financial accounts and his rich knowledge will surely help to understand and simplify the financial businesses of our clients.”
