Everest ropes in B Sridhar as general manager and branch head, Mumbai

B Sridhar has been brought in as branch head and general manager, Everest Brand Solutions, Mumbai. He moves from Eveready, where he was senior brand manager.

Sridhar will report to Aniruddh Banerjee, COO, Everest Brand Solutions. Sridhar says, “I will utilise my experience to help the agency move up the value chain in terms of delivery to clients. I will review the work of all the brands, which comes out of the Mumbai branch.”

Sridhar started off his career with a short stint at ‘The Times of India’. He later moved to Rediffusion DY&R, Kolkata, for three years as group account manager, where he was primarily responsible for handling the Eveready brand.

He went on to join Eveready for three years, working there as senior brand manager. He was responsible for the urban and rural communication for the launch of the ‘Give Me Red’ campaign with Amitabh Bachchan. “The ‘Give Me Red’ campaign worked wonders for the Eveready brand and also helped me open up more as a marketing person. I was amazed to see the actor’s equity with the masses,” he says.

In his career span, Sridhar has worked for brands such as Veedol, Airtel and Eveready.
