TV18 Network restructures senior sales management

The TV18 Network has announced a few structural changes in its sales and marketing division. The changes will take effect from October 1, 2006

The TV18 Media & #BANNER1 & # Network has announced certain management changes in its sales and marketing arm, which will come into effect from October 1, 2006.

As per the restructuring, the IBN Network will be headed at the national level by Sanjay Dua, who, until now, was the regional sales head for the TV 18 Network. In his new role, Dua will be responsible for advertising sales for the IBN Network, which includes CNN-IBN, IBN-7 and

Meanwhile, Anil Uniyal, who, till recently, was the national sales head for the TV18 Network, will now head the sales for CNBC Universe. This includes CNBC-TV18, CNBC Awaaz, CNBC Global and its online properties and the Focus division of TV18, which provides 360-degree solutions to clients.

It is also learnt that both Dua and Uniyal will continue to be the branch heads for Delhi and Mumbai, respectively, for the entire network in addition to their new responsibilities.

In another restructuring, Rajnath Kamath will oversee inventory sales for the TV18 Network. Kamath was earlier director, sales, for the GBN Network. He will continue to provide strategic direction to the advertising sales efforts across the TV18 Network.

About the restructuring, B Saikumar, CEO, TV18 Media Network, says, "This development is aimed at optimising the network's hold across television, Internet and mobile media. It is in line with the network's expansion and foray into the online and digital space."
