MAA Bozell makes senior level appointments

MAA Bozell has got Anand Narayan on board. Narayan has joined in as the branch head of the agency’s Bangalore office. He has moved in Lowe, Bangalore, where he was senior brand services manager. With his entrepreneurial skills, Narayan is expected to consolidate the work force at MAA Bozell and put the processes of the agency together to position itself distinctly in the marketplace.

Narayan has earlier worked with agencies such as TBWA India, Lowe (in Chennai), Asha Euro RSCG in West Asia and Mudra. Some of the brands he has worked on are ‘Malayala Manorama’, Pondicherry Tourism, RPG Cellular, Nutrine Sweets, McDowell’s and Britannia.

There are two other professionals who have joined the MAA Bozell team. Mala James and Jacob Thomas came on board a few months ago.

The other member to have come on board in the recent past is Jacob Thomas. He has joined in as head of operations for the MAA Bozell’s Kerala branch. Thomas has had a varied kind of experience having worked for publications, agencies and was also into academics. In his last assignment, he was professor and head of department (Marketing & Advertising) in School of Communication and Management Studies, Cochin. In his career span, Thomas has worked with international organizations such as Gulf News, Imagenet Worldwide and Draft Worldwide.

Bunty Peerbhoy, chairman, MAA Bozell, comments on the new appointments, “With Anand, Mala and Jacob, who have got a strong advertising background, we expect our agency to move to a higher plane of growth. In their past jobs, they have achieved good results, and gained good experience, and we expect to benefit from this.”
