With this partnership, National Geographic programmes will be available on the ETV channels in seven regional languages

Geographic Channel (NGC) and ETV have come together in a content partnership. NGC will provide content to ETV, which will air five days a week from Monday to Friday for half an hour in an evening slot.

With this initiative, viewers of channels such as ETV Telugu, ETV Oriya, ETV Kannada, ETV Bangla, ETV Gujarati, ETV Marathi, ETV UP, ETV MP, ETV Rajasthan and ETV Bihar will get to watch NGC programmes in their native languages.

The partnership is a result of NGC's strategy to reach out to a wider audience in the country. Elaborating on the move, Rajesh Sheshadri, vice-president, marketing, National Geographic Channel, India, says, "We have been constantly working towards reaching a larger audience and this partnership will help us reach millions of viewers through ETV's bouquet of regional channels."

Bapineedu, vice-president, operations, ETV Network, adds, "With this affiliation with NGC, we will further enhance our viewers' experience by providing them superior international programmes in their native language."
