Niloufer Dundh of Hungama TV to quit

After spending about two-and-a-half years at Hungama TV, she has put in her papers. She is all set to join a new media venture

Hungama TV’s vice-president, sales, Niloufer Dundh, is serving her notice period. She put in her papers a few weeks ago. She has spent over two-and-a-half years with Hungama TV, initially as vice president sales, West and South.

Dundh will be moving to join a new media venture which, she says, is neither television nor Internet nor print nor radio. Though she’s tight-lipped about the name of the organisation, she says that it isn’t an existing organisation and that it will venture into the Indian market soon.

“I have done my bit in the kids’ space,” says Dundh, adding that her experience at Hungama TV was challenging and enriching. She says she is content with the position that Hungama has reached today.

Her experience in the sales territory spans 13 years. Before moving to Hungama TV, Dundh used to head corporate sales at Radio Mirchi, where too she had spent two-and-a-half years. Prior to Radio Mirchi, she had worked with India.com for six months in the sponsorship marketing arena.

Dundh has spent a considerable number of years in the Middle East. Some of the places she’s worked with there are a publishing house named ‘Apex Publishing’ and Swiss Air.

Talking about her career, Dundh says, “I have taken mostly start-up projects. I believe one learns a lot in start-ups.”
