Two ACDs quit Everest for better career prospects

The two creative professionals are Ashish Rehi and Ravinder Siwach

Two mid-level creative professionals – Ashish Rehi and Ravinder Siwach – both associate creative directors – have bid adieu to Everest Brand Solutions. While Rehi was on the art side, Siwach was on the copy side. Both cite better career opportunities as the reason for their exit.

Anant Pal Singh, general manager and branch head, Everest, Delhi, sings the same tune, too. He says, “I am sure there is nothing specific behind these movements. They are simply for better career options and nothing more than that. I do not think I can comment on anything more.”

Rehi, who has moved to JWT as creative director, started his career with Crayons Adverising in 1997. Later, he moved to Enterprise Nexus (now Bates Enterprise) as art director, then to McCann-Erickson as art supervisor. After McCann, he moved to Bates (now Bates Enterprise). He joined Rediffusion in December 2005 and later Everest in May 2006.

At JWT, Rehi will be responsible for brands such as Hero Honda, Monster.com, Timex Watches and Unitech Real Estate Developers.

During his career span, Rehi has worked on accounts such as General Motors, Indian Airlines, Catch, Teacher’s Achievement Awards, Indiatimes.com, Panasonic and Dr Morepen.

Siwach has moved to Contract as creative director. Siwach started his career as a trainee with Saatchi & Saatchi and then moved on to be the creative group head at IB&W. In 2004, he joined Everest as creative group head and was elevated to associate creative director after a year. In between, he quit advertising and taught chemistry for two years.

During his career span, Siwach has worked on brands such as Siemens, Indian Oil, Le Meridien, Aaj Tak, JK Tyres’ Truck Radials, Intercontinental and Maxima Watches.

At Contract, Siwach will looking after Dabur, Domino’s, Honda and NIIT.
