PR Satheesh, who
was vice-president, sales, for Zee Sports till recently, has now joined the Tag Media Network as chief operating officer. Satheesh's mandate here will be to steer content creation and look after the overall sales and marketing operations of the company.
He has spent close to 15 years in the industry. Some of the companies he has been associated with during his career span are 'Deccan Chronicle' and 'The Asian Age', where he worked as branch manager, West, and general manager, Mumbai, respectively. After that, he joined Zee Network as vice-president, sales, for Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh and, later, moved on to become its key accounts head at Mumbai.
Bunty Peerbhoy, chairman, MAA Group and a partner with the Tag Media Network, says, "Given his valuable experience in the media space, PR Satheesh will be steering Tag Media Network through their start-up phase and building a team that will develop and create new vistas in this sector."
Satheesh is actively associated with The Advertising Club, Bangalore, and officiates as its vice-president.
The Tag Media Network is a national in-store television network that provides a broadcast-advertising network throughout India for effective delivery of brand communication within malls, retail stores and supermarkets. Currently, it has a reach of over five million viewers through tie-ups with national supermarket chains such as Spencers, Foodworld and Fabmall.
