Everest has witnessed a high attrition rate among its senior executives in the last few months
Everest Brand Solutions has lost quite a few senior executives in the last few months. The latest name to join this list is that of its national planning head, Sourabh Mishra.
After Mahesh Chauhan, president, Everest Brand Solutions, moved to sister agency Rediffusion DY&R as president, replacing Preet Bedi, Everest COO Aniruddha Banerjee also bid adieu to the agency.

Mishra’s exit was announced by Everest Brand Solutions, an unprecedented move in an industry in which an agency never announces the exit of its employees.
Perhaps, the message the agency is trying to convey is that this was a amicable and happy parting.
D Rajappa, president, Everest Brand Solutions, says, “The time Mishra spent with Everest was full of enthusiasm. He was keen on trying something beyond advertising and he got a good opportunity in the area of his interest. We wish him luck and I am certain that he will do complete justice to his new assignment just as he did at Everest.”
Mishra joined Everest Brand Solutions in August 2004. He played a key role in developing the new identity of the agency from Everest Integrated Communications to Everest Brand Solutions. In his 14-year career, Mishra has worked for agencies such as O&M and McCann-Erickson, where he was a key member of the planning team.
He started his career with Contract Advertising in 1992 and he spent around six years there. Besides, he has also worked with BPL Telecom for a year.
Having worked both on the agency and the client side, Mishra is considered to one of the industry’s brightest planning talents. Some of the accounts he has worked on in the past include Coca-Cola, Cadbury’s, HLL, ITC Foods, Himalaya, Dabur, Parle, NIIT and Titan.
The agency plans to announce his replacement soon.
