Everest loses its branch head, Anant Pal Singh, to Dentsu Marcom

Anant has seven years' experience in the advertising industry. He will join Dentsu Marcom as general manager

It is learnt that the branch head for Everest Brand Solutions, Delhi, Anant Pal Singh, has put in his papers. He is slated to join Dentsu Marcom, Delhi, as general manager.

Singh is an old hand at Everest, having worked there since 2004. He joined the agency's Mumbai branch as account director and later rose to become the branch head at Delhi, following the exit of Rajiv Rakshit in 2005. Prior to that, he was with Rediffusion DY&R and with O&M, where he started his career. In total, he has around seven years of experience in the advertising industry and has seen fast growth in his career. He has worked on brands such as Airtel and BP Castrol.

Everest Brand Solutions has lost quite a few senior executives in the last few months. After Mahesh Chauhan, president, Everest Brand Solutions, moved to sister agency Rediffusion DY&R as president, replacing Preet Bedi, Everest COO Aniruddha Banerjee also quit the agency.

Last week, the agency's national planning head, Sourabh Mishra, quit and joined Reliance Capital as director, market research and brand planning.

In December 2006, the agency lost two of its senior creative executives, Ravinder Siwach and Ashish Rehi, and one from the client servicing side, Saurabh Tara.
