iContract team wins AAAI AdFest Young Lotus Workshop contest

Fritz Gonsalves and Santosh Gupta, the Mumbai-based Young Creatives team from Contract Advertising’s direct marketing arm, iContract, have been announced the winners of the national creative initiative taken by the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI). The contest was called the AAAI AdFest Young Lotus Workshop.

The winning team will be flown to Pattaya, Thailand, on March 11, 2007, courtesy SOTC Holidays of India. They will be the official Indian representatives at the prestigious Asia Pacific Young Creatives Workshop, 2007, which will be held March 12-14, 2007. They will also be guests at the AdFest (Asia Pacific Advertising Festival), Asia’s premier creative awards function, scheduled for March 14-17, 2007. Altogether, the winning team will be away for seven days.

The AAAI organised the national contest for its member agencies and invited entries on the theme, ‘Adoption’. Some 111 entries received from 21 agencies were judged by Prasoon Joshi, executive chairman, McCann-Erickson, India, and R Balakrishnan, national creative director, Lowe India.
