Prateek Bhardwaj moves from Everest, Mumbai, to Ambience Publicis

Bhardwaj will complete 10 years in the advertising industry this year. He began his career as trainee copywriter at Saatchi & Saatchi, Delhi, in 1997

Prateek Bhardwaj has joined Ambience Publicis as executive creative director. He moves in from Everest, Mumbai, where he was creative head.

At Ambience, he will report to Ramanuj Shastry, national creative director. He has already started working on some new businesses.

Talking about his move to Ambience, Bhardwaj says, "My mandate at Ambience is to put my head down and write - spend less time managing people, spend more time with ideas. and I think any creative person would jump at that. At Everest, my responsibility was more managerial. However, I loved my two years at Everest and have no complaints."

Bhardwaj will complete 10 years in advertising this year. He began his career as a trainee copywriter in Saatchi & Saatchi, Delhi, in 1997. After a year, he joined McCann-Erickson, Delhi, as a copywriter. After spending four years at McCann, he moved to Publicis in 2002, where he was associate creative director.

He moved to Lowe, Delhi, for a short stint after a two-year term at Publicis. He then joined Everest, Delhi, as creative director, where he worked on Hitachi and GPI. Everest, Mumbai, happened to him in early 2006. During his career span, he has handled brands such as Sprite, Chlormint, Kinley mineral water, Maggi, NIS, Red Tape and Gillette.
