Commenting on the work done by Mudra Marketing Services, Madhukar Kamath, managing director and chief executive officer, Mudra, says, “We set out on this journey to build Mudra Marketing Services about three years ago. The current growth achieved by the company is a reflection of the Mudra group’s commitment to creativity in business beyond the mass media.”

The company also claims superiority in terms of creative output. Meera Sharath Chandra, national creative director, Mudra Marketing Services, says, “If you clearly understand your customer and know where to find him, directed communication becomes simple and most often path-breaking.”

She feels that the bar has been raised for the creative product of Mudra Marketing Services and that’s an achievement for the group.

During the conversation, she refers to a campaign done by Mudra’s events and promotions company, Kidstuff Promos & Events. Kidstuff created a whole tribe of blue faced patriotic Indian fans for Pepsi to encourage the Indian team at the ICC Champions Trophy 2006. The tribe was branded as the ‘Pepsi Blue Billion’.

As part of the initiative, Pepsi brand ambassadors Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra travelled with fans and cheered for India, using the campaign slogan ‘Oooh aaah India, aaah yaaa India’, when India played England in Jaipur.

Chandra has recently been chosen as a member of the Interactive jury at Clio 2007 in Miami. Chandra will also be judging the One Show Interactive at New York from March 11-17, 2007.
