Says Nayak, “Paul joined the agency in mid-2000 as vice-president on Reckitt Benckiser and, since then, has worked on all brands. He now takes over the function and role that I used to handle earlier.” Some of the businesses that Paul has handled recently are Nestle, Microsoft, Coca-Cola, GM, Perfetti, Dabur and the Diageo-Radico joint venture.
Paul has been in the industry for the last two decades. Prior to joining McCann-Erickson, he has worked with agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, Lintas, Grey and Clarion (Bates). At Bates, he worked on brands such as Philips, Panasonic, the ITC cigarette brands, Tata Tea and DuPont. As general manager at Saatchi & Saatchi, he led the launch of Hyundai Motors India and its model, the Santro, in India in 1998.
Outside work, Paul is a visiting faculty at management institutes and also a part of a voluntary group aiming to create an education model to benefit disabled children.
