The tie-up with Subhiksha retail stores will see the deployment of out-of-home media solutions, including LCD screens and digital banners, across its stores in 30 cities
vJive, the broadband, out-of-home media and digital signage network, has tied up with Subhiksha retail stores to deploy out-of-home media solutions, including LCD screens and digital banners, in its stores across India.
vJive had earlier announced that by the end of 2007-08, it hopes roll out 10,000 screens in 16 cities. The tie-up with Subhiksha is part of its first-phase plan to have 2,000 screens installed at various shopping malls, retail stores, railway stations and airports in the country, involving an investment of Rs 20 crore.
Currently, Subhiksha has 650 operational stores in 30 cities, including Chennai, Ahmedadabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune and Delhi. It has plans to raise its store count to 1,000 by December 2007. vJive claims that with this tie-up, it will surpass the target of 2,000 screens in the first phase. It will work in conjunction with Subhiksha for additional nationwide store roll-outs and will equip each store with cutting-edge audio-visual banners that will constantly display advertorial content to shoppers.
Some of the other retail chains with which vJive has established strategic partnerships are Vishal MegaMart, V-Mart, Salasar, Apna Bazaar and Adani’s.
