spending two years at Hindustan Times, Cornel Fernandes is back again in Dainik Bhaskar as general manager - marketing. He will be based out of Mumbai, and will report to Harrish M. Bhatia, vice-president, marketing.
In his last stint, Fernandes has worked with Dainik Bhaskar as category head for five years between 2000 and 2005. After which he moved to Hindustan Times, Mumbai as deputy general manager and was handling close to 40 per cent of the company's business.
Says Fernandes, "My earlier stint at the Bhaskar Group was a great learning experience." I then moved to Hindustan Times as I was infatuated with the brand. But now my second home coming is to get the same learning and also help the publication scale greater heights."
Fernandes has been in this industry for almost 10 years now. He has worked with companies such as India Today, Result McCann, and Research Direct.
