Madison consolidates outdoor division MOMS

MOMS, the outdoor division of Madison World, has made changes in its structure by creating two COO designations


Madison World & #BANNER1 & # has made structural changes in its outdoor agency, MOMS. It has created two new positions to provide focused attention to its big clients and also to encourage the senior members by conferring more authority and responsibility.

Earlier, MOMS had two operations, client servicing and buying. It has now been re-structured into geographical zones, the West and South zones and the North and East zones, to be headed by two COOs.

The erstwhile heads of the two operations, Rajneesh Bahl and Dipankar Sanyal, have been re-designated as COO, West and South, and COO, North and East, respectively. Earlier, Bahl was general manager for client servicing, while Sanyal was general manager for buying. Both will report to the CEO, Soumitra Bhattacharyya.

Bhattacharyya believes that this restructuring will give the business the right impetus. "We have achieved phenomenal growth last year and now we are preparing to consolidate and build upon it," he said.

Sam Balsara, chairman and managing director, Madison World, says that in its five years of existence, MOMS has retained most of its employees. MOMS services companies such as Dish TV, Aviva, Mother Dairy, Zee TV, Go Air, CavinKare and Peerless.
