Siddharth Prasad moves out of TBWA after 12-year stint

Prasad moves to FCB Ulka, where he shall function as a creative director, and shall take charge of the new creative group that the agency has formed

Siddharth Prasad, creative director, TBWA, Delhi, has moved to FCB Ulka in the same capacity. His move comes after a 12-year stint with the former, since he first stepped into the agency in 1995.

Soon after completing his MBA, Prasad began his career with Lowe (previously Lintas), Bangalore in 1993 in client servicing. He worked there for two years, and then moved to Anthem, Delhi, in 1995, again in the client servicing function.

In 1997, he changed his line of function and switched to creative in Anthem itself- he began as a copywriter there. In 1998, Anthem became a part of the TBWA network. He climbed the rungs as senior copywriter, creative group manager and associate creative director in TBWA Anthem. In 2005, he was assigned the role of creative director, and has held the position till date.

FCB Ulka is in an expansion mode and looking at the new business wins, has added a new creative group to improve the quality of the work that moves out of the agency. The agency, which until now had four creative groups, has taken the count up to five, and Prasad shall take charge of the new group. It is learnt that Prasad will end up with some big businesses of the agency.

During his career, Prasad has worked on businesses such as Sony, Electrolux, Adidas, Moser Baer, TGIF, Pedigree, Twinigs Tea and Amar Ujala, to name a few.
