Devraj Sanyal named chief executive officer, PDM India

Sanyal replaces Preeta Singh, who left PDM last month

Devraj & #BANNER1 & # Sanyal, COO, Percept D'Mark (PDM) will replace Preeta Singh as CEO; Singh quit the agency last month. As CEO, Sanyal will lead all PDM businesses and focus on integrating the various group businesses such as mainstream advertising, content, talent, PR and out-of-home.

Commenting on the development, Sanyal says, "It's an honour as well as a challenge to lead one of India's premier experiential marketing companies. I look forward to taking PDM to the next level in the coming years and establishing it as a name that dominates the experiential marketing space both nationally and internationally."

Sanyal joined PDM as COO in January 2004 and has been looking after the various verticals of the company since then, including sports marketing, fashion, entertainment management, wedding management and the activation, event and promotion businesses.

He started his career in 1992 with an entertainment company called StageKraft. After a year there, he launched his own entertainment division called Curtain Raiser. In 1996, he moved to 'Elle' as brand manager. After this, he joined the brand and distribution team of Baccarose in 1998, and stayed here for the next two years. Later, he joined 360 Degrees, the event management division of Times Infotainment Media. His next destination was PDM.

Sanyal has worked on iconic brands such as Airtel, Hero Honda, Sahara, Tata, Dabur, Maruti, GM, Titan, Hutch, 'Elle', Citibank, HSBC, Phillips and LG and in various Indian metros and mini metros as a part of both regional and global teams.
