In an economy with a booming retail sector and ambiguous outdoor laws, digital signage has an obvious role to play in out-of-home advertising. Retail digital signage is expected to be a $2.07-billion industry by 2010, according to iSuppli. VJ Media Works, which organises industry events such as In-Store Asia and the Outdoor Advertising Convention, is bringing together the first event on digital signage in Asia.
Digital Signage Asia 2007 will be a two-day event focusing on the technological and creative aspects of digital signage. The panel members and speakers will comprise professionals from among digital network operators, retailers, brand managers and ad agencies.
The event will also showcase an exhibition with the latest solutions in digital signage. Digital Signage Asia 2007 will be held on November 21-22 at the JW Marriot Hotel in Mumbai.
