Synovate revamps senior management in India

Jaisy Desai of Ormax, Meeta Luthra and Deepak Dasila of IMRB International, and Sumit Arora of JD Power & Associates have been taken on board at Synovate

Global market research company Synovate has announced the appointment of senior market research professionals in Delhi and Mumbai.

Jaisy Desai has been appointed head of qualitative research for Synovate India’s western region. Desai moves in from Ormax, a qualitative research firm. She has more than 15 years of work experience in the field of market research. Desai has worked with market research companies such as TNS, IMRB and ACNielsen and has managed clients such as Nestle, Colgate, HLL, BPL, Lakme, Castrol, Godrej Sara Lee and Leo Mattel. She holds an MBA from the Jamnalal Bajaj Management Institute in Mumbai.

In another development, Meeta Luthra has joined Synovate Loyalty – the company’s customer loyalty practice – as associate director. Luthra moves from IMRB International where she worked as senior project director. She has over 11 years of work experience in the research and consultancy field. Luthra started her career with Godrej and Boyce Manufacturing in 1996 as an assistant marketing manager

Another addition to Synovate is Deepak Dasila as senior project director, quantitative, in Mumbai. Dasila also moves here from IMRB International, where he held the position of senior project director. Dasila secured his MBA degree in marketing from the Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Institute in Aurangabad. He has done client-centric work in the areas of brand-tracking, ad-testing, usage and attitude (U&A) studies, and segmentation studies.

Sumit Arora has joined Synovate, Delhi, from JD Power & Associates, Singapore, where he worked as project manager. Arora has a total of six years’ experience, with five years in market research and a year in brand management. He will take on the role of senior project director. Arora will handle the quantitative research team and critical client work in Synovate Motoresearch, the company’s automotive research practice.
