N Padmakumar is national creative director, Everest

Padma has spent around eight years at Lowe at its various branches

N Padmakumar, creative head, Everest Brand Solutions, Mumbai, has been assigned a wider role now. He has been elevated to national creative director and in that capacity, he will be responsible for the creative products that move out of the agency.

Padma began his career in Lowe (then Lintas) in 1995 as a copy trainee. He stayed there for five years and left the agency as group head in 2000. He did a short stint at MTV, the music channel, as consultant and scriptwriter for its shows.

Towards the end of 2000, Padma joined Lowe (then Lintas), Sri Lanka, as executive creative director, He moved to the Delhi branch in 2002 as creative director on LG. Towards the end of 2002, he joined McCann-Erickson, Colombo, as executive creative director and was there till early 2005.

Before taking up his next assignment in advertising in 2006, Padma pursued photography and produced ad films for less than a year. He joined Lowe, Mumbai, in 2006 as creative director. In January 2007, he moved to Everest.

Through his career, Padma has worked on businesses such as Nestle, Sri Lankan Airlines, Levers, Cathay Pacific, Pizza Hut, Clinic Plus, ICICI and Bharat Petroleum.

At a time when passion is probably the only reason to be in advertising, he possesses it in abundance, in addition to experience, proven talent and a wide repertoire of creative skills.”
