Euro gets another media client -- Network24

Last & #BANNER1 & # month, agencyfaqs! reported about a creative pitch being called for Network24, the broadcasting venture by BAG Films and Media. The verdict is out- Euro RSCG has been freezed upon as the agency to partner the media company for its creative duties.

A week prior to the pitch, the identity of Network24 was revealed. The umbrella shall contain two channels- E24, the entertainment channel, and News24, the 24-hour news channel. Both the channels will hit the screens in November.

Talking about the appointment of Euro as their agency, Amit Ray, chief strategy officer, says, "Apart from the enthusiasm that we saw in Euro, we were quite impressed with the creative and thought process that went behind the work that was given in by the agency. I think, the agency's experience of handling a television channel (Max) prior to this, helped it to understand our product better."

Network24 is looking at a 360 degree communications solution to tap its audience - print, radio, out-of-home, Internet, new media, and below-the-line activities.

Radio Dhamaal, the radio biz, is one of the other properties run by the group, which shall be brought under the Network24 banner. The venture holds licenses for 10 cities. The company has also forayed into content creation and new media, and is looking forward to their launch in digital and mobile content. However, none of these properties were not up for pitch.
