Times OOH appoints Sunder Hemrajani as MD

Times OOH & #BANNER1 & # has announced the appointment of Sunder Hemrajani as its managing director. Sunder, in a career spanning over 25 years in sales, marketing and general management, has worked with companies such as Pepsi, Whirlpool and Hindustan Unilever. It's a new position created by the company sighting the unprecedented growth in the out-of-home (OOH) industry.

Speaking on Sunder's appointment, AP Parigi, MD ENIL, says, "As the out-of-home segment continues to grow in the country, we realise that the quality of leadership will be the business differentiator. I am extremely happy to announce the appointment of Sunder as MD for Times Innovative Media (Times OOH). With his rich experience, we will chart a new course for the industry in the country."

During his 14 year stint with HUL, he handled senior assignments in the HPC (home & personal care) and foods businesses and was part of the leadership team that conceptualised and implemented 'Operation Harvest', Levers foray into the hinterland. In Whirlpool, Sunder lead the integration of the refrigerator and washer businesses, and helped launch the brand in the country. In Pepsi, he lead the company owned bottling operations in North and East and subsequently was executive director sales for South Asia BU.

Prior to joining Times Innovative media, Sunder was president, distribution at Reliance Capital. Sunder is a mechanical engineer from Delhi College of Engineering and an MBA from FMS, Delhi.

On his appointment, Sunder adds, "It's such an exciting time in the history of OOH advertising in India. I am sure that with its exciting talent and invigorating strategy, we shall be a winning team."
