Lintas IMAG goes for a management revamp

Lintas IMAG, a Lintas allied group, is effecting a management revamp to match the growth taking place in the integrated marketing areas

Lintas & #BANNER1 & # IMAG, a Lintas allied group, is effecting a management revamp. The change comes in the wake of the Interpublic Group acquiring a 100 per cent stake in Lintas India. The communique from the integrated marketing agency says the rationale behind the revamp is to match the growth being witnessed in the integrated marketing areas.

Under the revamp, Vivek Lakhwara, president, Aaren Initiative, the out-of-home company of Lintas IMAG, has been invited to join the Lintas Integrated Marketing Action Group (IMAG) executive council. The council is headed by Ashish Bhasin, director, IMAG. Ameer Ismail, Colette Austin and Usha Bhandarkar are the other senior executive council members.

Ameer Ismail has been given additional charge as president of Lintertainment, besides LINOpinion and Advent.

Deepak Shah has been elevated to president of Lintas Personal. The digital thrust of Lintas Personal will now be handled by Ambika Tiku, head, digital.

Bhasin says, "2007 has been a year of great growth for Lintas IMAG. In 2008, we must focus on expanding our offering. Digital and retail will be some of the thrust areas in order to maintain our leadership in the integrated marketing arena. As market leaders, Lintas IMAG will also be looking beyond Indian shores for expansion and growth in 2008."
