national creative director, Cheil Communication, is in the process of strengthening the agency's creative team. As a first step in this process he has roped in two new creative professionals, Viral Pandya from Out of the Box and Vedobroto Roy from GOD. Pandya will be executive creative director, and Roy, creative director.
Suthan says, "Cheil is gearing up for the future. The agency is in the process of bringing to life the creative work for Samsung, for that is our primary focus. Both Pandya and Roy bring with them suitable experience and energy to create value for the agency and Samsung."
Pandya has been in the industry for close to 16 years. He has worked with Mudra and Interact Vision in the period from 1991 to 1995. He then moved to Saatchi & Saatchi and was there for a significant period before moving to Grey WorldWide for an 11 month stint; he then re-joined Saatchi & Saatchi. Out of the Box happened in 2006.
Says Roy, "Prathap is one of the reasons why I have decided to join Cheil and not any other agency. He has the ability to make a very good creative team. Also, people are watching Cheil with interest. It has a lot of promise attached."
