TNS India appoints new chief executive

Neerja Wable joins TNS from Millward Brown Singapore, where she was chief client officer for Africa and the Asia Pacific

Neerja Wable has joined market insight and information provider TNS as chief executive officer, India and Sri Lanka. Based in New Delhi, she replaces outgoing managing director Suresh Ramadurai.

Wable joins TNS from Millward Brown, where she held the position of chief client officer for Africa and Asia Pacific, and was based in Singapore. Prior to that, she worked at IMRB International, most recently as senior vice-president and executive director.

Wable will be responsible for the implementation of the growth initiatives that TNS plans to take up, as well as strategic planning and business development. In support of TNS’ regional growth strategy, she will also chair the TNS Asia Pacific, Latin America and West Asia boards as associate director.

Stuart Campbell-Morris, regional managing director, TNS, Middle East, Africa and India, says, “It was not easy to find a successor with the ability to meet the challenges of the changing Indian business environment. After an extensive search, I believe that in Wable, we have found someone exceptional with the necessary industry status, experience and drive to take up the role.”

TNS provides research and analysis in areas such as retail and shopper insights, stakeholder management, new product development, and brands and communications. It also supplies consumer panel, media intelligence and Internet, TV and radio audience measurement services.
