Kapoor already endorses several differentiated brands such as Globus, Head & Shoulders and Citizen watches

film actress Kareena Kapoor has added another brand to her kitty, the well known depilatory cream, Anne French. Kapoor already endorses Globus, Head & Shoulders and Citizen, the Japanese watch brand, and she used to endorse Garnier.

Anne French, which has been in the market for more than 40 years, focuses on the multi-tasking woman who plays many roles in her life. The brand has undergone major changes in its packaging over the years. It is available in easy to carry and easy to use packs.

Anne French's first brand ambassador - three years ago - was actress Vidya Malvade, seen recently in the film, Chak De! India. Between Kapoor's appointment and then, Anne French used a foreign model for its commercials. While Malvade was ambassador, the focus was on the cream softening the skin while removing unwanted hair. The ad featuring the foreign model highlighted the cream's quick use quotient.

The new communication for Anne French will revolve around the idea, 'Beautiful Skin Is In'. Kapoor, who claims to use the depilatory cream herself, says, "Its convenient packing makes it easy to carry and use. Anne French has vitamin E and moisturisers, which make my skin not only look beautiful, but also feel silky and soft."

An Anne French spokesperson comments, "Anne French, a market leader for more than 40 years, is a trusted brand among millions of women across the country. Kareena signifies vivacity and a confident attitude, qualities that the Anne French woman possesses."

A commercial with the star is on the anvil. The media mix includes a print campaign and various point of purchase activities. Outdoor too will be carried out to a large extent.
