Spiderman casts a web for Big FM, Hyundai i10

Big FM has rolled out an innovative campaign in five cities in which Spiderman look-alikes invite people to participate in a contest that could win them an i10

Don't be & #BANNER1 & # startled if you are driving around in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad or Bangalore and Spiderman jumps on to your car. It's all part of a promotion campaign undertaken by Big 92.7 FM.

'Kai Ittare Caru, Big Hero Yaaru?', as the campaign is called, is basically an endurance test in which Spiderman challenges the participants to take a 'stick' test. The promotion has been launched in association with Hyundai Motors' newly launched i10. The contestant who can keep touching the Hyundai i10 for the longest period gets to grab the keys and drive home the car. The campaign will kick off on January 11.

In a sneak preview of the campaign, Spiderman will be seen travelling across the cities and sticking to random cars parked on the roads. Big FM listeners will be asked to participate in the event.

The entry phase saw people from all the metros seeking to participate in large numbers. Shortlisted candidates are being put through medical tests, which they have to clear in order to be eligible to take part in the contest. Big FM has also set up counselling and training sessions to ensure the participants are well prepared before D-day. The finalists will compete with each other to win the Hyundai i10 across all five cities from January 11. The event will also have a host of celebrities visiting the location to root for the participants. Big FM has applied to the Limca Book of Records, officials from which will identify the record creator on successful completion of the test.

The on-ground event saw Spiderman entertain the crowds by jumping across cars and proving his own endurance. He was also seen challenging the crowds to participate in the contest and break his record.
