Celebrity game show to replace Nach Baliye

A reality game show showcasing celebrities and their buddies, Kaho Na Yaar Hai, starts this Friday on STAR Plus

If you can’t get enough of reality shows featuring celebs, here’s one more. Starting January 18 is a new celebrity game show, Kaho Na Yaar Hai, which replaces reality dance show Nach Baliye. The new show will feature celebrities and their friends playing games and checking out their compatibility quotient. The team (the celebrity and two friends) with the highest score will win. Optimystix Production is producing the show.

The show features celebrities with their best friends, competing in two separate teams, and is an entertaining mix of warmth, fun, madness, camaraderie, revelation and sheer high spirits. Celebrity game show to replace Nach Baliye

Kaho Na Yaar Hai will feature celebrities such as Sajid Khan, Dia Mirza, Mallika Sherawat, Sonu Nigam, Ronit Roy and Gautami Kapoor. The show will be anchored by actor Karan Patel. Patel has acted in various Balaji serials and is currently playing the male lead in STAR Plus’ prime time show, Kasturi. With Kaho Na Yaar Hai, Patel ventures into the world of anchoring.

Kaho Na Yaar Hai will engage viewers with a slew of games that will test the celebrities and their friends through various rounds of activities.

Optimystix had earlier produced game show Khul Ja Sim Sim for STAR Plus. The production house has produced several shows on various other channels such as Bathroom Singers and Jjhoom India.
